Fonds is divided into the following series': Correspondence; Works by Patrick Lane; Teaching, Workshops and Workshop Anthologies; Royalty Statements; Awards and Honours; Professional Activities; Works by Other Writers; Publicity and Interviews; Financial Records; Medical Appointments; Personal and Family Memorabilia; and Garden Records and Publicity.Provenance :Information additionnelle :Note générale :Acquired directly from Patrick Lane in Dec. 2017, having been shipped directly from the author's home in July 2016.Note sur le classement :Records were received unfoldered. Divisions into archival files has been imposed by the archivist, following the orientation of pages in stacks and/or changes in the types of documents (e.g. email correspondence, switching to drafts of poems). Researchers should be careful to preserve the orientation of documents in folders to retain evidence of Lane's working processes.Groupes de documents reliés :aFirst accession of the Patrick Lane fonds was acquired by McMaster University in 1971.
