This accession consists of photographs created to document the operations of the Canadian Forces Support Unit (Ottawa) CFSU Ottawa, and include the photographic record produced by imaging technicians based out of there, working on a variety of assignments.

Subjects depicted include military events in and around Ottawa, ON, including at National Defence Headquarters (NDHQ) and at 412 Squadron, Royal Canadian Air Force. A large amount of photographs depict VIP visits to Ottawa by senior military staff and foreign leaders and notable personalities, and ceremonies, presentations, and other events, including change of commands. There are also many formal portraits of serving CAF members. A small series of images that is also part of this accession is labelled "SUPC" and consist of colour portraits of DND officials and CAF service members, taken in 1995.
