General note:

Accession consists of records of the Export Advisory Council operating under the Department of Trade and Commerce (DTC). Established in late 1966, the Council was chaired by the Minister of Trade and Commerce, and consisted of members coming from the senior ranks of business and industry. It was responsible for contributing to optimum Canadian export performance in advising and making recommendations to the Minister on export-related issues and reviewing export development programs and services of DTC.

Records consist of minutes of meetings, papers of council committees, expense accounts, correspondence and case studies.
