Fonds consists of correspondence, accounts, records of medical studies at Edinburgh, accounts and records of Masonic affairs and related papers accumulated by Henry Fitzgerald Jarvis, and the executors of his estate. Material received from three sources has been integrated into this unit.

This fonds contains several items in horizontal storage: three diplomas (containers 2,3, and 5) and a certificate of position (container 4).

Jarvis, Henry Fitzgerald, d. 1898 : Henry Fitzgerald Jarvis was a son of Edward James Jarvis, chief justice of Prince Edward Island. After studies in Edinburgh, where he received his degree in 1848, he practiced medicine on Prince Edward Island and was active in Masonic affairs.
