Nettle, Richard, 1815-1905 : Richard Nettle, public servant, was Superintendant of Fisheries for Lower Canada in the Fisheries Branch of the Department of Crown Lands, 1857-1864. He was retired on pension in 1898, after transferring in 1864 to the Inland Revenue Department.
