Fonds consists of a mimeograph copy of a Manifesto addressed to Canadian War veterans by a Committee of Dominion Presidents of Veterans' Organizations regarding a survey to be made on a voluntary basis by various veterans' organizations. A sample copy of the roll books in which the information obtained in the survey was to be entered is also included.

Veterans' Organizations, Committee of Dominion Presidents of : The Committee of Dominion Presidents of Veterans Organizations was a committee chaired by W. W. Foster and the secretary was Chas. R. Hill. In 1939, the Committee instituted a survey of veterans who served the British Empire during a period of war. The survey was designed to produce a list of veterans who were ready to serve in the case of a national emergency.
