Tripodi, Vincenzo : Vincenzo Tripodi, scholar and author, was a visiting professor at the University of Ottawa and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Academy in Ottawa. He was also the first president and founder of Italian week at the University of Ottawa in 1975. Events included round table discussions, showing of films, folkloristic performances, theatrical presentations, displays and a social evening.
