Fonds consists of the records of the Windsor Chapter of the Italian Association which document activities of Canadian chapters. These records include correspondence, programmes, memoranda, clippings, and minutes of the Dante Alighieri Society of Windsor kept by the founding president.

Dante Alighieri Society. Windsor Chapter : The Dante Alighieri Society, a non-political and non-sectarian society, was established in Italy in 1889. Its main aims are the advancement of the Italian language and culture throughout the world. There are more than 250 chapters of the Society outside Italy. In Canada, there are several chapters: Ottawa, Toronto, Sarnia, Vancouver, Winnipeg, Edmonton, Hamilton, Guelph, Thunder Bay and Quebec City. The Windsor chapter was founded in 1971.
