Patria Publishing Company : Established in 1957 in Toronto, the Patria Publishing Company published the Hungarian Canadian weekly Magyar Elet. Although most of its subscribers lived in Ontario, the newspaper served the Hungarian community across Canada, informing readers on local events, on Canadian issues of concern to the community as well as on occurences in the old homeland. In addition to the newspaper, the company also printed books as well as taking printing orders to meet the needs of Hungarian Canadian organizations.

Patria Publishing Company closed in 2002.
