This autograph album, attributed to Eileen Wurtele, is inscribed as having been given in 1945 by G.F. Abbott to Helen Fraser and shows evidence of havng been expanded by her. The autographs range from complete letters (notably several from William Kingsford to John Reade, literary editior of the Montreal Gazette) and notes, through postal franks on envelopes, to signatures excised from documents. Identification is provided for many of the signatures. There is no apparent order to the entries.

Received in 1969; previously catalogued as MG 29 I 29. Scarcely twenty pages of the album have been used.

Note on the state of conservation:

The scotch tape affixing many letters and notes to the pages is now severely deteriorated and discoloured.
