Fort Chicoutimi (Québec) : Chicoutimi was among the earliest of the King's Posts (Domaine du Roi), built about 1650 at the junction of the Saguenay and Chicoutimi rivers. The North West Company leased it from 1788 until union with the Hudson's Bay Company in 1821.
