Floyd, F.G.W., 1878-1900 : Soldier

Private F.G.W. Floyd, a militiaman of the 7th Fusiliers of London, Ont., volunteered for service in "B" Company recruited from the London military district. He was killed in action at the Zand River, Orange Free State and was awarded post humously the Queen's South Africa Campaign Medal with bars for Cape Colony, Paardeberg and Drie Fontein.
