Fonds consists of a brief history of the family background of George Becker, Langenburg, Sask., a copy of an autobiographical note in which Becker describes his journey, in 1889, from Liverpool to Winnipeg and his first employment experiences in Winnipeg, rural Manitoba and North Dakota, as well as a copy of Becker's account of pioneer life in Langenburg, Saskatchewan. Photocopies, 17 pages.

Becker, Georg, 1871-1956 : Georg Becker, farmer, emigrated from Germany to Canada in 1889. After a few years of working as a labourer, he took a homestead in the Langenburg area of Saskatchewan.
