Fonds consists of ledgers and financial material relating to Wickham's Toronto law firm, 1886-1927; letterbook containing copies of letters sent by Wickham on topics such as the estate of W.T.C. Boyd, conflicts with the Boyd Company and Mossom Boyd Estate, the Cowichan Lumber Company and family matters, 1925-1927; and ledger of Wickham's law partner, G.A. Boomer, 1887-1915.

Wickham, Henry John, 1848-1927 : H.J. Wickham was born in Somerset, served in the Royal Navy and came to Canada in 1870. He was called to the bar of Ontario in 1885 and practiced as a lawyer for the rest of his life. He acted as a prompter of the Lindsay, Bobcaygeon and Pontypool Railway, 1899-1904. He was the author of "Canada's Maritime Position and Responsibilities" in 1895 and helped organize the Imperial Navy League.
