West, Albert C., 1880-1923 : Albert C. West of Hartney, Man., enlisted in the Canadian Army at Winnipeg in 1916, sailed to France in 1917, and joined the 43rd Camerons on 22 November 1917. He returned to Canada on 24 March 1919, after being awarded the Military Medal.
