Fonds consists of two letters from Kilpatrick to his parents from Passchendale, 6 November 1917 and Mons, 16 November 1918; a handwritten text of an address delivered to the 3rd Canadian Division by Kilpatrick at a Thanksgiving Service held in the Theatre of Mons, 16 November 1918; a newspaper clipping, n.d., of an article by Kilpatrick recalling an incident at the front in August 1918; a printed copy of a response by Kilpatrick to the toast "The Canadian Corps" at the Armistice Day Banquet held at the Sir Arthur Currie Branch of the Canadian Legion, 1938; and a typed copy of sermon delivered by Kilpatrick at the United Theological College, Montreal, 5 October 1946.

Kilpatrick, George G.D., 1888-1975 : The Rev. G.G.D. Kilpatrick was born in Aberdeen, Scotland. He received his early education in Aberdeen and Winnipeg, Manitoba. Graduating from the University of Toronto in 1909, he attended Knox College, Edinburgh. He served in World War I with the 34th Battalion, 1915-1916, with the 42nd Battalion, 1916-1918, and was senior chaplain of the 3rd Canadian Division, 1918-1919. He was appointed principal of the United Theological College in 1938, and held this position until 1955. During World War II, he served as director of education, Canadian Army, 1943-1945, with the rank of colonel.
