Fonds consists of typescripts relating to the Thomas Fisher archives and of "The Merchant Millers of the Humber a Pilot Study in the Early Economy", by Norah Story; typescript and correspondence relating to Story's biography of Hon. Senator Paul Martin, 1975; correspondence from Story to Paul Martin and correspondence between Josephine Phelan and Paul Martin regarding the biography, 1968-1973.

Fonds consists of photographs depicting scenes in St. Joseph, Ont., 1907.

Fonds also includes St. Joseph, Ont. 1907; and a large medal commemorating the 9 August 1902 Coronation of King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra.

Story, Norah, 1902-1978 : Norah Story was born in England and came to Canada in 1912. She received her secondary education in Guelph, Ont., and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto in 1926, graduating with first class honours in History. She received her Master of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin in 1927 and in 1928 she joined the staff of the Public Archives of Canada. She directed the work of the Manuscript Division from 1942 to 1960 at which time she retired.

She wrote "The Oxford Companion to Canadian History and Literature" which was published by the Oxford University Press in 1967 and which received the 1967 Governor General's Gold Medal. Her other works include "Documents Relating to the Constitutional History of Canada, 1819-1818", selected and edited with notes by Arthur G. Doughty and Norah Story, Public Archives of Canada, Ottawa, 1935. Norah Story died on 5 March 1978.
