Jackson, Harold M., 1898-1961 : Harold M. Jackson, military historian, joined the militia in 1922, entered active service in the Canadian infantry in 1939, and served in, both Britain and continental Europe. Called out from the Supplementary Reserve in 1947, he was put in charge of War Service Records at Army Headquarters, Ottawa, Ont.
