Shaw, Alvin J., fl. 1932-1978 : Alvin J. Shaw was a professor at the University of New Brunswick during the 1940s until the early 1970s. He was also an officer of Theatre Canada (1932 - 1978), an organization that encouraged Canadian artists, actors and playwrights and contributed to the cultural development of Canada. Shaw was a member of the governing body of Theatre Canada from 1964 to 1973.
