The fonds consists of microfilmed and photocopied church registers for the parish of St. Francis Xavier, Brockville, Ontario. It includes registers of baptisms for 1835-1846 (vol. 1), 1854-1860 (vol. 2), and 1882-1893 (vol. 3), and marriages for 1841-1847 (vol. 1) and 1855-1856 (vol. 2). There are marginal notes of marriages, 1907-1947, in the register of baptisms for 1882-1893. The registers also contain confirmations, 16 May 1847, and debts due to the Rev. P. O'Reilly from Kitley Church. In addition to the registers, the fonds includes an index to volume 2, prepared by F. C. L. Wyght. The material is located on microfilm reel M-4613. Photocopies are also available.

Note générale :

F. C. L. Wyght of Lombardy, Ontario donated photocopies of volumes 2-3 to the National Archives in 1975, together with his index for volume 2. Rev. Father Raby of St. Francis Xavier Church lent the original registers of volumes 1-2 to the Archives in 1978 for copying, through the kind offices of Mrs. John Coderre of Ottawa. The Archives photocopied volume 1 to complete the set of photocopies and then microfilmed all three volumes and the index to volume 2 so that the registers would be complete in both photocopy and microfilm formats.

The photocopies, although described as three separate "volumes", are all stored in one physical container (shared with MG9 D7-62).
