Fonds consists of a letter from Sir John A. Macdonald respecting the power of the Federal Government to establish the Maritime Court, 187; evidence taken and judgement given by G.O. Stuart at an inquest held into a riot at an election in Montreal, 21 May 1834, and into the conduct of the magistrates, 1834; and letters patent appointing G.O. Stuart judge of the Vice-Admiralty Court at Quebec City, 1873.
