This material is located on microfilm reel M-2231.
Fonds also consists of Official Royal Engineers' photographs from the North American Boundary Commission, 1872-1875; Chippewa, Sioux and Crow Indians; Lake of the Woods, Ont.; Winnipeg and Red River Settlement, Man.; Red River Transportation Company's steamer Selkirk; views of London, England, Paris, France, Edinburgh, Scotland; views of Western Canada along the Canadian Pacific Railway route; and portraits of Dr. Millman.Provenance :Biographie/Histoire administrative :Millman, Thomas, 1850-ca. 1915 : Thomas Millman, born in Oxford County, Ont., was educated at Trinity Medical College in Toronto. Dr. Millman was Assistant Surgeon with the British North American Boundary Commission, 1872-1875. He furthered his studies in medicine in London, England, 1875-1876 and subsequently returned to Canada to practice in Woodstock, Ont.
He was employed with the Asylum for the Insane in London, Ont., 1879-1885, and with the Asylum for the Insane in Kingston, Ont., 1885-1889. He later moved to Toronto and was active in the Children's Aid Society and the Anglican Sunday School Association.
