Item is a microfilmed account book kept by John Rashleigh of Fowey containing detailed information of the costs involved in fishing off the Newfoundland coast with the ships, the Success, the Tryfell, and the Marygold. The accounts include such items as the costs of equipment, provisions, crew, purchasing of the crew's share of the catch in Newfoundland or after delivery to market as well as the market prices of different types of fish at some European markets.
