Collection consists of promotional volumes for the "Cottage Bible" are inscribed with the names M. Connor and Jas. Brizanson. Connor's copy, 1872-1887, contains newspaper clippings of hymns and poetry, sketches of houses, and home remedies. The volume which belonged to Brizanson, 1857-1862, contains subscription lists and comments, poetry and songs, and lists of household accounts. The handwriting indicates that the volumes were apparently used by various individuals as a scrapbook and a notebook respectively.
