It includes records of the Universities Centennial Programme, 1965-1968; the Bladen Commission on the Financing of Higher Education in Canada, 1963-1967; an exploratory cost analysis study of the costs of university programmes in Canada, 1964-1973; a study identifying resources available at Canadian universities for international programmes, 1964-1970; the Commission of Enquiry on the Rationalisation of University Research, 1971-1972; the Snider report on foreign degrees and their Canadian equivalence, 1965-1970; the Pike report on who doesn't get to university and why, 1969-1970; and the Commission of Inquiry on Canadian University Education, 1989-1991.

Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada : The Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada (AUCC) is a voluntary association of fifty-eight institutions of higher education in Canada. Its objective is to foster the development of higher education. Constituted in 1965 by an Act of Parliament of Canada, the AUCC is the successor to the National Conference of Canadian Universities and Colleges, and its executive agency, the Canadian Universities Foundation.
