Some of the subjects dealt with are the African Student's Institute; the Canadian University Service Overseas; the Federation of Canadian Artists; United Nations Associations; UNESCO Fellows; Regional Cultural Study Grants; Youth Travel Grants; East/West Activities; and Adult Education Societies, Volumes 1-28.
Fonds also consists of photographic material including a portrait of Anthony J. Mills, Assistant to an unidentified archaeologist of the 1964 Unesco Nubian Monuments campaign; three views showing archaeological digs in the Sudan region; Michel Léveillé receiving an award from M. Napoléon Leblanc of the Université Laval and President of the Canadian Commission for Unesco, and Rachel Blais, head of the Philatelic Club of St. Luc Secondary School, 1967; photographic portraits of the executive of the Canadian Commission for Unesco and invited speakers to the National Conference of 1961; and a World School Children's Art Exhibition.

It was to serve as an agency of liaison with organizations, institutions and individuals in Canada interested in the activities of UNESCO, with the UNESCO secretariat and with the National Commissions or other co-operating agencies of the member states.
