Electrochemical Society of Canada. Ontario-Quebec Section : The Electrochemical Society of Canada was formed in 1954, by Canadian members of the United States Electrochemical Society. The main activity of the society is the organization of symposia, which allow members to present and discuss research and related projects. The society also presents Young Authors Seminars to encourage the work of young scientists and holds national meetings.
