Fonds consists of material relating to the day-to-day business of the Ottawa Brass Manufacturing Company and contains sales receipts, a day book with entries for sales and repairs, miscellaneous material which includes supplier quotations and invoices as well as trade catalogues and a Metropolitan Life Insurance Company list.

Fonds consists of engineering drawings created by the Ottawa Brass Manufacturing Compnay showing details of sheet metal parts for an eight-inch pressed lens light stored at the Dominion Lighhouse Depot in Prescott, Ontario and a second drawing of a folding tent frame used by the Department of National Defence.

Ottawa Brass Manufacturing Company : Brass Working

This compahy started off as Lockeberg, Iveson & Company, brass workers, c.1910. In 1913 it became the Ottawa Brass Manufacturing Company. First established on Wellington Street in downtown Ottawa, it moved in 1916 further down the street to the LeBreton Flats area, where it shared accommodation with a number of small businesses. The company continued under Mr. Lockeberg until the late 1960s.
