Original diary, 1876-1906, describing Johnston Patterson's life in Northcote, Renfrew County. The diary concerns basically his life as a farmer and his interest in church affairs. Patterson, Johnston, 1851-1930 : Farmer

Johnston Patterson born in 1851 lived in Northcote, Renfrew County. He farmed all his life and was very active in Church affairs. He was a driving force in the establishment of the Northcote Presbyterian Church and the order of Free Templers.
