Series consists of chronicles of the Jarvis Family, 1786-1901, composed of correspondence exchanged by William Jarvis (1787-1856) and his wife Mary Caroline Boyd (1798-1867), Edward James Jarvis and his wife Anna Maria Boyd (1787-1841), and William's son William Munson Jarvis (1838-1921), as well as other family members. The letters reflect family interests, family ties, and the social, political and economic circumstances of the times.

Citation/reference note:

Correspondence was used as a basis for Arabella's Letters, together with the Contents of her small Diary, 1823-1828 by Arabella M. Stuart (Toronto: Musson Co., 1927 ?), which Mary Caroline Boyd wrote under that pen name.

Originals are now in the New Brunswick Museum.
