Series consists of records that document contract negotiations and collective bargaining between the Canadian Air Line Employees Association (CALEA) and employers Air Canada, Pacific Western Airlines (PWA) and Eastern Provincial Airways (EPA).

Records include minutes of negotiation meetings, union and company proposals for collective agreements, briefs to conciliation boards, agreements, reference material, including correspondence, reports, bulletins, and news clippings, for Units 1, 2, 3, 5 and 6 of CALEA.

The series also includes reference material for strikes by the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAMAW) in 1969, 1971 and 1973.
