Copies of correspondence between the Governor General and the Colonial Office, which was referred to Borden for his information, copies of correspondence of the Governor General and Borden with the British Ambassador in the United States and Mexico, also with Prime Ministers and Governors of Dominions and Colonies, and correspondence between Borden and Sir George Perley who was acting High Commissioner to the United Kingdom and Minister of Overseas Military Forces for Canada. A great deal of this correspondence is duplicated elsewhere, especially in RG 7 (G21, file 1407.1), the Perley Papers and in other correspondence files in the Borden Papers. The Finding Aid is included in the computer index.
