7 maps.Language of material:EnglishScope and content:Series consists of textual records as follows: WWI air combat reports, records, and pilot's flying logbook of W.G. Barker; report by Air Vice-Marshal Brooke-Popham, and an extract from the London Gazette documenting Barker's various decorations.
Also included in series are photographs of the Beaumont-Hamel battle field after capture; aerial views of Beaumont-Hamel; miscellaneous pictures of the London Zoo; an elk in the Brandon Park; Lieutenant-Colonel William George Barker with the Sopwith "Camel" aircraft B6313 of the R.A.F., 1918; and Lieutenant-Colonel William "Billy" Avery Bishop and Barker with captured Fokker D VII aircraft, Leaside, Ont., 1919, taken by Pringle and Booth.
In addition, the series includes seven maps relating to WWI in France, 1916-1917.
