An almost-complete series of bound volumes contains the French and English texts of proceedings for the Legislative Assembly, 1792-1837. English and French texts were entered on facing pages at certain periods, and in separate volumes at others. The printed Journals were compiled from these manuscripts, which incorporate the texts of Speeches and Messages, Addresses and Replies, Resolutions and other documents as well as the minutes (also termed Votes and Proceedings). Loose copies of these documents were also produced (see series A 4).
