Acts passed in Parliament, engrossed on parchment and signed or initialed by the Governor on the date of his giving them Royal Assent, were retained as a copy of record reintegration with this series. From 1851 onward, the "copy of record" was printed, using the setting of type from which texts were printed for public distribution. The chief difference between them is the presence of the governors initials and the manuscript date here.

Acts survive here only for 1852 and 1855-1857. The arrangement is numerical, by the chapter designation which also appears in the printed statutes. A number of Acts identified as astray in RG 4, B 5 are under consideration for reintegration with this series.
