This series contains lists of the New England Company's members, governors, treasurers, clerks and auditors, 1661-1859 (MS. 7942); the substance of a speech made by Israel Mauduit at a General Court, 1785 (MS. 7959. for another copy, see MS. 7966); case opinions, 1786-1787, relating to the administration of the New England Company's trusts after the American War of Independence, including extracts from the Company's charter and from the will of the Rev. Dr. Daniel Williams (MS. 7931). This material is located on microfilm reels A-294 and A-295

The series also contains proclamations, legal documents, correspondence regarding Mohawk land; indentures, schedules of land, documents under the seal of the Province of Canada, agreements, plan of lands connected with the Mohawk Institution, title deeds and other documents pertaining to the Six Nations (MS 8005).
