The records in this sub-series were part of a transfer of "miscellaneous records" and were received as an unorganized mass and given some arrangement in piecemeal fashion. They were not incorporated into the "G" Series arrangement schema as were many other records received from the Office of the Governor General. The reason why is not known. Their identity was not well-recognized and the relationships to other series records within the fonds were imperfectly understood for long periods, such that the opportunity to reconstruct the original order was lost.

No further accruals are expected.
