This series includes units B1 to B665. Note that several units have not been acquired by the National Archives and may be found in other institutions. See the finding aid of the collection for the list of non-acquired units. No. B29 is a letter from Louis Riel to his wife, Marguerite, and his children, Jean and Marie-Angélique, shortly before his execution. The letter is dated 16 [November 1885].

Included in horizontal storage: containers 141 to 177 are comprised of land grants, writs, indictments, letters patent, commissions, proclamations, contracts, minutes of surveys, and printed material, 1716 to 1938.
