This data file consists of approximately 500 items relating to work motives, economic goals, humanitarian-social goals, goal conflicts, management practices, background, linguistic skills, etc. which students were mainly asked to compare and rank order. The same three dimensions of industrial leadership (organizational goals, the management of people, and work motivations) used in the study of large and small business organizations (G0000343 and G0000344) were analysed to see whether the major cultural trends of differences found in both large and small business organizations would hold up as well among the coming generation of business leaders.
