Sub-series consists of typescripts, production scripts, treatments, manuscript notes, printed material including research material and reviews, correspondence, and other material relating to Ted Allan's writings for CBC and British television. Included are files on "Early to Braden", "For Whom the Horses Run"/"Love is a Long Shot", "Flowers at my Feet", "Wedding in Corsica", adaptations of Carter Dickson, a projected mini-series on Lord Beaverbrook and general ideas. The recordings are sound recordings of television broadcasts in the British Broadcasting Corporation series "Early to Braden".

Additional material includes "The Adventures of Robin Hood" and further material on "Early to Braden" and "For Whom the Horses Run"/"Love is a Long Shot".

Further additional material includes material written for Canadian and British television, including ideas for television game shows and for the "Early to Braden" show, and adaptations of prose by B.Traven and John Dickson Carr. Some of the scripts are written under the pen name Alan Moreland. Included is some correspondence.
