Series consists of files from the minister's office. The content ranges widely. Many of the subject files deal with Newfoundland-interest material. Other files consist of speeches and datebooks, as well as personal correspondence. This series has extensive runs of material documenting Mr. Crosbie's bid for the PC Leadership in 1983, as well as his various constituency campaigns in federal elections for the period from 1983 to 1993. Constituency matters for the same years are reflected in the Householder. Finally, several volumes hold material relating to the Free Trade Agreement including speaking notes, comments by politicians at various levels, and benefits assessments of the Free Trade Agreement by riding.
