Series consists of files organized by C.J.F. Beny, Roloff Beny's father and informal business manager who was heavily involved with his son's career as an artist and later as a photographer and book designer. Roloff Beny's financial affairs were in large organized through the aegis of his father's companies including the purchase of the Tiber terrace apartments in Rome in 1967. As such, the series contains personal correspondence with Roloff Beny and material relating to his projects, finances and properties; clippings; transcripts of telephone conversations between Roloff Beny and his parents, Bernard Fahy and between his parents and various family members; Charles Beny's diaries; memos; biographical material relating to the Beny family in general and Roloff Beny and his career as an artist and photographer in particular; business records both for Roloff Beny and Beny Chevrolet Oldsmobile.

Included is personal correspondence between Charles and Rosalie Beny and friends and other family members. These files have been maintained in their original order as arranged by Charles Beny, rather than separated into different series. They have been divided into sub-series: correspondence, financial affairs.
