Material has been arranged in four sub-series: Annual General Meetings for the general membership; Management Committee Meetings which regularly brought together six regional representatives, four Executive Officers and three Toronto office staff; Regional Meetings held twice yearly by the six groups; and Miscellaneous Meetings.

Within the Annual General Meetings sub-series, files include agendas, special reports by managing directors and editors, complete delegates' kits, relevant background material, related correspondence regarding conference arrangements and registrations, and budget information.

Management Committee Meetings files include A.N.N.P.A.C./R.A.C.A. budget reports, editors' and managing directors' reports, regional reports, memoranda to Committee members, agendas, minutes and related correspondence.

Regional Meetings files contain relevant incoming and outgoing correspondence for regional representatives, background information on issues under discussion, agendas and minutes, and copies of submissions to cultural boards.

Miscellaneous Meetings files contain only a small amount of material, primarily on the 1979 and 1981 "Living Museums Colloquium" conferences.

Correspondents include Allan Mattes, Clive Robertson, Nataley Nagy, Gary Hall, Ric Amis, Elizabeth Chitty and Robert Labossière.
