Series consists of postal covers and collateral material related to Canada's involvement in World War II. It records a variety of postal markings applied to covers and illustrates routine happenings to stamps and mail within Canada, and to and from Canada. It also documents certain postal activities of civilians, soldiers, and sailors from Newfoundland. This series, with the exception of a few postal covers, was published by the author in book form in 1970 as The Wartime Mails and Stamps Canada 1939-46.
