Review Committee on the Mandate and Productivity of Canada Post Corporation : On June 20, 1985 the Honourable Perrin Beatty, Minister Responsible for the Canada Post Corporation announced the establishment of a Review Committee on the Mandate and Productivity of Canada Post Corporation, the membership of which would be drawn from the private sector. The Review Committee was to assess the legislative mandate and the policies and practices of the Canada Post Corporation and to report on the future requirements for a national postal system. The members of the Review Committee were: Alan Marchment, Chairman; Louis R. Commeau, Alix Granger, Julien Major and Fred H. McNeil. The Secretary was Hugh Mullington. RG3 General Inventory
