The Volunteer and Community activities records series documents Keith Spicer's involvement with several voluntary organizations. Most significant are his records of the Commonwealth Student Volunteers (later the Canadian University Service Overseas); these include reports, minutes, correspondence and strategies dating chiefly from 1959 to 1962. Also included in this series are records relating to Spicer's involvement with the Liberal Party, 1965 to 1969, with Canadian Parents for French and with the Asia-Pacific Foundation. The series also contains a videotape of a speech by Spicer and textual records about Down's Syndrome.
