HMCS Saguenay : HMCS Saguenay (2nd) was built by Halifax Shipyards Ltd. and commissioned on December 15, 1956. She underwent a refit into a destroyer helicopter escort (DDH) in 1963 and was recommissioned on May 14, 1965. She completed her Destroyer Life Extension (DELEX) refit at Montreal in May, 1980. Based in Halifax, she was a member of the 1st Canadian Destroyer Squadron. She was paid off on 26 June 1990.
