Canada. National Capital Commission. Property Branch : The Property Branch was responsible for the acquisition, management and disposal of real property throughout the NCC in order to enable the NCC to fulfill its mandate and achieve its program goals. The division also engaged in property management and the development, and redevelopment of revenue producing properties either on an interim or permanent basis. The Branch managed properties throughout the National Capital Region including the Urban Core, the Greenbelt, and Gatineau Park. The Branch carried out property planning functions and developed policies and strategies pertaining to real property acquisition, management and disposal. In addition, the Branch administered the Commission's grants-in-lieu-of-taxes program. Presently the functions of this Division are now incorporated into the Grant in Lieu of Taxes Division, Property Development and Management Division and the Official Residences Division of Capital Planning and Real Asset Management Branch (CPRAM).
