While a certain proportion concerns internal topics such as pay and allowances, insurance, administrative services and data processing, the greater part deals with such subjects as the Winnipeg Base controversy, the proposed TCA/CPA amalgamation, a large number of files on air cargo, records dealing with routes and services, equipment, agreements and studies. Also included in this series are files from the Office of the Vice-President, Administration Services (S.W. Sadler) (Vols. 445-446). Subjects covered include industrial relations, administrative procedures, automatic data processing, departmental administration and conferences, seminars and speeches.Additional name(s):Biography/Administrative history:Air Canada. Personnel Department : The Administrative Services Department had the following responsibilities: "to administer the functions of personnel and industrial relations, administrative procedures, operational research, organizational planning, free and reduced-rate transportation, and headquarters services; also to provide the overall planning and co-ordination of Company automatic data processing applications, and to co-ordinate the methods and results of all quality measurement programs used by major departments."
