Canada. Canadian Armed Forces. H.M.C.S. Avalon : HMCS Avalon in St. John's Newfoundland was set up as an independent accounting establishment in 1941. The Commanding Officer HMCS Avalon was one of three senior officers reporting to the Commodore Commanding Newfoundland Force (CCNF).
